Kokopelli
and Company
Since 1996, I've been writing and drawing Kokopelli
and Company, an almost-monthly one-pager for Muse,
a magazine aimed at 9-to-15 year olds. In the strip, new, updated
Muses for the Modern World try to dodge the trickster's practical
jokes. I'm afraid you won't find any samples online, but you
can check out the magazine's unofficial
fan page to see what the kids are thinking.

Raw Materials
Peter is a devious, manipulative, power-mad geek with
an Adonis face half-hidden by hair. Arnold is a relentlessly
rational geek who regards his beloved Jill's complete indifference
to him as a logic puzzle to be solved. Jill, a greedy geek, is
not unfeeling: she loves all dollars equally. Leila is our moral
geek, whose socially responsible impulses evaporate around Peter
on account of his looks. They're the Raw Materials, in hot and
geeky pursuit of whatever it is they pursue. The strip was born
online at Discovery
Tech,
where you can find 18 installments. It has since moved to Simple-Talk and SQLServerCentral,
two jolly sites for database administrators.
